Who We Are
Guest ReflectionsSM was created by people committed to the idea that churches should be active listeners. We do not promote a consumer-driven approach to church, but we do encourage two-way communication.
The motivation for this comes from the concept of prayer. God, who knows all things, still desires to hear people's prayers. This enables deeper relationship and acknowledges the value of those God has created. In the same way, we believe that listening churches acknowledge the value of their visitors.
Guest Reflections is led by professional researcher Jim McGee. For more than a decade Jim has enabled organizations -- including Christian ministries and other non-profits, commercial firms and government agencies -- to listen to their constituents through research. Having
worked for a variety of research firms, his clients have included InterVarsity’s Urbana Convention, Compassion International, Tyndale House Publishers, AARP, the Wharton School of Business, Federal Express, Boeing, Clorox and the U.S. Army.
In addition to leading Guest Reflections, Jim serves as Research Specialist for the mission-research organization Global Mapping International and as Consulting Vice President for marketing research firm Campbell Rinker. Jim's roles also include Senior Associate for Research for the Evangelical Fellowship of Mission Agencies and Mission Commission Associate for the World Evangelical Alliance.
Jim holds an MS in Marketing Research from the University of Texas at Arlington, as well as a BA in Journalism from TCU. Jim is an active member of
